Elian
One day, at the end of March, as the sun was setting, between broken smiles and emotional tears, Elián was born.
After Alina, our firstborn, decided to return to the stars, as a family we were so confused and hurt that we wondered if we would keep trying to get pregnant and if we would do it together.
A few days later, in the middle of a hug, we decided to move forward hand in hand, as we knew that each experience strengthened us and prepared us for something greater.
We started dreaming and visualizing a perfect birth. Music, an altar and plenty of privacy were the ingredients to welcome him. However, Elián and life decided to turn our lives upside down.

Elián ended up being born by cesarean section after twelve glorious hours of labor. Hours that we ended up celebrating with dancing, singing, meditation, laughter and delicious food. It was such a magical space that, even when accepting the cesarean, we felt very close to each other, being able to support each other with love to move forward.
From day one, we did not fail to contemplate the human magnificence incarnated in Elian. Her look is sweet, happy. He expresses his discoveries with smiles and his tears with unexpected surprises. You are free to express yourself, to move as you wish. He tries several times to clarify his desires with gestures, sounds and words. He relies on his ingenuity and versatility to learn from challenges. There is full attention to what he hears and with humor he informs. He feels what his mother feels, he imitates his father, he copies every gesture and behavior, reflecting light and shadow to grow and stand out. He maintains a willingness to contribute, has his intuition on the surface, and is affectionate with overflowing, limitless, and contagious love.
Gratitude son, for being able to turn our world upside down, for accompanying us with love to make it more beautiful, full of joy.
